Lumen’s highly acclaimed international Evolution festival is an annual showcase of exceptional programmes of work from leading and emerging artists that use media in their art. The festival began in 2001.
The artistic programme is evolving into a year round showcase of commissioning new works, artists’ learning, and public outdoor and venue-based events for audiences. These will continue to support artists’ experimental contemporary film, video, technology & sound art.
