and Conditions Rates Lumen offer subsidised rates for non-profit work depending on the nature of the project. Please be prepared to give full details of the work you are undertaking at the time of booking. Concessionary rates are applicable to artists, arts projects, community groups and not-for-profit organisations. Weekly (7 days) hire is charged at 3 times the daily rate. Discounts apply to longer term hires of 2 weeks and above. All prices are exclusive of VAT Booking Equipment bookings can only be made by official company order or letter of confirmation from constituted organisations. Faxed or written orders must be on official company paper and must include a registered company number and VAT registration number. All individual hire customers must provide proof of identification (ie passport, driving license, birth certificate). All Hire equipment is checked within 24 hours of return for any damged or missing items including cables and packaging/cases. Any missing items will be charged at full replacement cost. All non-commercial productions should credit Lumen for provision of facilities. In the case of exhibition equipment, Lumen should be acknowledged in any publicity material with the inclusion of our logo, which is available on floppy disc, as hard copy or online at www.lumen.org.uk/logo. Lumen is a member of the Hire Association Europe, HAE standard terms and conditions can be made available on request. Insurance Equipment will not be hired without evidence of suitable insurance cover. Insurance is availble to hire customers at a charge of 10% of the total hire fee and covers against loss or damage within Great Britain, provided equipment has been handled with due care, i.e. if equipment is stolen from an unattended car you will liable for replacing the equipment. In case of theft or loss you MUST obtain a police report and inform us immediately or you risk loss of cover. |
